In this episode, I have the honor of sitting down with Judy Neff. Judy is the owner of Checkerspot Brewing Co. here in Baltimore, Md. Judy shares how one trip to Anchor Brewing Co. (2:47) started her on a home beer crafting journey that would grow into what we know now as Checkerspot Brewing Co. We then tackle the idea that all successful entrepreneurs are born with the innate desire to go out on their own and create a company from birth(15:33). This leads us into a great conversation around “who” crafted the first beer(22:36), Baltimore Beer Babes(23:55), and some of the great changes in the craft beer industry in 2023.
